PARTICLE ANALYSIS

Particle Size Distribution Studies are performed on either water systems that need to be filtered or are used to evaluate existing filtration. 

When you are evaluating a system to add filtration, you need to run a Particle Size Distribution Study to determine the size of the particles you need to remove.

If you have an existing filter you occasionally need to run a Particle Size Distribution Study to determine if it is working properly.

High efficiency sand filtration is becoming an integral part of water treatment programs for both Cooling Towers and Chill Water systems.  These filters do need attention and occasional maintenance.  A yearly Particle Size Distribution Study will help you better maintain this important asset.  If it is not working properly it could actually hurt your program.
