Our main service is the monitoring program—a quarterly audit of all water systems to ensure that the treatment suppliers are complying with the performance specifications that are expected of them.
This audit consists of sampling each water system and inspecting the chemical feed stations, corrosion coupon racks, controllers, log sheets, service reports, towers, as well as other open equipment at the time of visit.
The samples are taken to our laboratory and analyzed using state-of-the-art techniques. Within 48 hours of receipt, the biological portion of our analysis is completed and published to the customer.
Within two weeks of the sampling, the remainder of the analysis is completed and your representative will create an in-depth report, which outlines problem areas and provides recommendations for corrective action.
Following the report, there may be discussions with the treatment supplier, a formal review, and telephone and/or e-mail conversations until situations are remedied.
This bid process is designed to achieve the best technology, with the best service, at the most competitive price. You should re-bid your water treatment every three to five years.
We conduct a competitive “apples to apples” performance-based specification. Many customers run group bids, which may involve 20-40 individual sites.
Once bids are submitted by the treatment suppliers of your choice, we analyze each submittal for compliance, technical content, and price. You may then choose to keep your current vendor under a new specification, or change treatment supplier altogether.
Following the bid analysis, we schedule interviews with the treatment suppliers at a location that you choose. During these sessions, we will technically challenge each of the representatives whom you may ultimately give a fiduciary responsibility for up to $500 million of your equipment. Our customers say that they have learned more about water treatment during our interviews than anywhere else.

Our customers demand better data than what can be accomplished with chemical vendor field-testing. In each and every testing technique, we are generations above what can be generally accomplished in the field.
Homeyer Consulting offers a menu-driven published price list. You have the ability to create a unique consulting program. You choose the services which you would like to receive, and then set the desired intervals.
Generally, we charge an on-site fee, an analysis fee per sample, and a consulting fee for the data interpretation and report. These costs may vary depending on the size and complexity of your systems. However, most customers pay less than 5% of the cost of water treatment per sampling.
